Meet The Team
Emily Denis, MD, FACOG, MSCP, DipABLM
Founder and OBGYN
Dr. Emily Denis is a double board-certified physician in OB-GYN and Lifestyle Medicine with advanced training in menopause care and sexual health and wellness. Her background in Kinesiology and years spent working as a personal trainer first inspired her passion for helping women understand and care for their bodies.
After spending a year traveling in Southeast Asia and Nepal, exploring Eastern philosophies of wellness, Dr. Denis entered medical school and went on to complete a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her years practicing as a general OBGYN, she cared for women through every stage of life—from adolescence and pregnancy to menopause and survivorship after cancer. She performed hundreds of complex deliveries and pelvic surgeries, but what ultimately shaped her vision was what she witnessed in everyday practice: women struggling silently with common, life-altering symptoms and feeling isolated, misunderstood, and underserved by a system not built to support them.
As she listened to her patients’ stories, Dr. Denis recognized a profound need for more time, patient education, and connection in women’s healthcare. In a medical system that often rewards volume over depth, she saw the critical gap in care during life’s most significant transitions—perimenopause, menopause, postpartum, and beyond.
Driven by this mission, she founded Her Wellness Collective—a space where women are seen, heard, and treated with both expertise and empathy. Here, she combines evidence-based medicine with holistic, lifestyle-focused care to help women thrive through every season of life.
